ESPANDEX 100 AD

 

EXPANSIVE ADDITIVE FOR THE PACKAGING OF MORTARS TO BE USED IN THE CONSOLIDATION OF LAND AND ANCHORAGES

ESPANDEX 100 AD is a single-component powder additive to be used for the packaging of highly expansive and bleeding-free mortars. Its expansive action, due to the formation of gas in the cement mixture, causes in the mortars (depending on their characteristics) a final expansion factor that can reach up to 100% within 60 minutes of the addition of ESPANDEX 100 AD.

 

Advantages
The use of ESPANDEX 100 AD in a special mixture injected into the hole after the laying of the structural element has the characteristic, being in a confined environment, of generating an expansive and bordering action. These actions are able to recompress the soil around the hole, increasing the tension of the soil or at the same time to block any fractures or discontinuities.

 

Dosage and expansion
The dosage of ESPANDEX 100 AD can be varied according to the desired expansion value, as shown in the table below. It is always advisable to carry out a preliminary test to obtain the desired results.

ULTRAFLUID EXPANSIVE CEMENT MIXTURE WITH A FINAL EXPANSION

The ESPANMIX line of products is made up of single-component cement mixtures which, once mixed in water, increase their volume with respect to the injected volume.
According to the user’s needs, this line offers several solutions in terms of expansion times and expansion power.

 

Fields of use
The ESPANMIX products are particularly indicated for grouting inserts or riveting in tunnels or other underground applications. For soil compacting injections during tunnel excavations.

 

Advantages

The expansive mixture, injected in the hole after installing the structural element, and thus in a confined space, carries out expanding and limiting actions, which compress the soil around the hole, increasing the tension of the soil and, at the same time, filling any fractures or discontinuities.
